NBAMS 7th grade art students created a food-themed, layered paper collage project. They had the option of collaborating with local North Branch sports bar and grill, Tailgaters, to choose items inspired by their menu. Art teacher, Lee Ann Falen, shared how this project emphasizes depth through the process of layering paper pieces over one another. Students have to consider the color, shape and size of the pieces and plan out which order they will be placed in to create the layers needed. Fifteen of these projects are currently displayed on the wall at Tailgaters in North Branch! To add a customized touch, the blue and white checkered sheets pictured are the actual liners used at the restaurant.

Here's some photos from Friday, and what a fun day it was! These are scenes from the pep fest and the parade. SKOL!
