Congratulations to the NBAHS Adapted Bowling Team! They took 3rd place in the state tournament last Friday. Said coach Alyssa Nelson, "I couldn't be more proud of the North Branch Adapted Bowling team who took 3rd place in teams at the state tournament yesterday!!! They played their best match of the season yesterday with many PRs obtained!" More photos will be posted on the MSHL website.

High school mentors and middle school mentees along with 8th grade student leaders took a trip to Base Camp at Fort Snelling. They participated in many team building activities throughout the day. A special thanks to NBAEF for their support and making this trip happen!
Today NBAHS held a walking pep rally for the Adapted Bowling Team for qualifying for the state tournament! Shelby Pantelis, Leeann Otterson, and Briana Beck are competing in the singles tournament; Ben Elliott, Molly Sullivan, Briana Beck, and Madelyn Phillips earned their spot in the team competition. The MSHSL tournament is tomorrow in Brooklyn Park! Way to go bowlers and go get 'em!

Tomy Cummings, an alumni of NBAPS and current mentor in the FTC Robotics program, received the Compass Award at a recent competition identifying him as one of the top mentors in Minnesota. Congratulations Tomy, FTC Mentor since 2013!

For the fourth year in a row, the North Branch Area High School Air Force Junior ROTC program will compete at the 2024 National All-Service High School Drill Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida, this weekend. The high school celebrated the achievement with a walk through on Wednesday.
The Vikings competition team consists of Evelina Gilkerson, Violet Hood, August Johnson, Mars Lairson, Hailey Payne, Carter Peterson, Lily Roderick, Jasmin Suppon, Connor Wessel, and Amandy Yang.
The Viking Cadets will compete in Color Guard, Unarmed Regulation Drill, Unarmed Team Exhibition Drill, and Unarmed Team Inspection.
Less than two percent of the thousands of Junior ROTC units nationally qualify to compete at the National All-Service High School Drill Championships. Schools accepted deserve high praise, as their mere selection denotes a level of quality few other programs can boast!
NBAHS is pleased to announce the hiring of head coaches for both the dance and girls hockey programs!
Chloe Kavanagh has been hired as the new Head Dance Team Coach for the North Branch Vikettes! Chloe (Triggs) Kavanagh is a former Vikettes captain and graduate of North Branch Area High School. Chloe runs her own dance studio in North Branch and looks forward to sharing her knowledge and passion of dance with our high school team.
Northern Tier Stars (Cambridge-Isanti, North Branch, St. Francis co-op) is pleased to announce that Joe Fredrickson has been selected as the new Head Girls Hockey Coach. Please join us in congratulating Coach Fredrickson in his new role with the program. Coach Fredrickson started the St. Francis girls hockey program in 1997 and coached them until 2012.
