Staff with students and WeWorkforHealth reps

NBAHS would like to thank @WeWork4Health for recognizing our Viking IT program with a $2,000 #STEMTalentPipeline grant, and @Representative Anne Neu Brindley for joining our students today to talk about the importance of STEM education! The skills our students learn today will inspire them to become the innovators of tomorrow!

Viking IT students Carson Weber and Amelia Bjerketvedt explain how the course has impacted their lives.

Viking IT teaches students a variety of hands-on skills such as Chromebook maintenance and repair, 3D printing and video editing, along with customer service, collaboration, and problem solving skills. Viking IT techs Carson Weber and Amelia Bjerketvedt were kind enough to spend some time with our guests today explaining some of the things they do as part of Viking IT and what a difference having those skills is making in their lives.

Rep. Anne Neu Brindley joined representatives of WeWorkforHealth to learn more about how the $2,000 #STEMTalentPipeline grant is being used to broaden students' horizons.

The video below explains more about Viking IT, and you can read more about NBAHS's Student Repair Academy here.
