It's Fire Safety and Prevention Week! Our partners at the NBFD are meeting with students to review fire safety, and participating in fire drills at every school. Here, students at Sunrise learn about smoke alarms, "stop, drop, and roll," and the equipment used by firefighters.

Community Ed Competitive Gymnastics had a great meet last weekend at the the Spirit of the North! Violet Wholecheese scored the highest all around score of the entire meet with 37.725. The Bronze team (pictured) took 3rd place as a team and many medals.

Interested in attending NBAPS' Friday, Oct. 13 Patron Tour? Patron Tours start at 7:45 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. Guests enjoy refreshments in the morning, tour every site in the district, and finish the half day with a lunch prepared by high school ProStart students. In between guests visit classrooms and talk with staff, students, and leadership. It's a great way to learn more about NBAPS from early childhood all the way through high school! All of us in Viking Country are looking forward to seeing our Viking community at the game tonight. It will be a big crowd, so please read through the following game expectations so we can all share in a great Homecoming football game experience. It is sure to be a blast!
REMINDER: The Homecoming Parade, from Maple and Forest to Grand and on to the high school, starts at 3:15pm. Bring your Viking pride! Tailgating and fun for the whole family afterward. Football against Mora starts at 7 and will include fireworks! We hope to see you there. SKOL!
