A group of 38 fifth graders have volunteered to sing Christmas carols in Central Park tomorrow night (Dec. 2) at the City of North Branch's Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Due to interest in the Vikings football state tournament game, North Branch Area Public Schools is announcing early school dismissal this Friday, Nov. 17.
Bused students will depart NBAPS for home at 1:15 p.m. this Friday. Parents and guardians should expect their students to arrive at home approximately 90 minutes earlier than a typical day.

NBAHS Vikings football is headed to U.S. Bank Stadium for the first time in school history after beating Benilde-St. Margaret in an action-packed 38-27 victory on November 9!
The Vikings play Hutchinson on Friday, Nov. 17 at 4:30 p.m. at U.S. Bank Stadium. Tickets can be purchased from the Minnesota State High School League through Ticketmaster here: https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/06005F4D1AB69E2B
Tickets can also be purchased onsite. The MSHSL does not offer cash sales. Prices are $10/students and $16/adults.
If you are unable to attend but would like to see the game, the MSHSL works through NSPN (http://nspn.tv/MSHSL) and offers all games via livestream for a fee. It is $10/month or $30/year for a subscription.
Staff are working on the logistics of possibly providing fan buses and there will be more information to come early next week.

Tickets can already be purchased from the Minnesota State High School League at https://mshsl.hometownticketing.com/embed/event/358. Tickets can also be purchased onsite but only through the MSHSL online source. The MSHSL does not offer cash sales. Prices are $9/students and $13/adults.
The team will be escorted out of town by NBPD/NBFD around 3:30-4pm on Thursday, Nov. 9. If you are around please join the Grand to 95 to 35 route to see them off!
