Are you looking to enroll your child into one of our Alternative Learning Programs or virtual summer school? The alternative programs provided by North Branch Area Public Schools includes the Norse Area Learning Center and Distance Learning programs. We also have great summer school opportunities for students that want to continue learning through the summer months.

You can enroll online through the North Branch Area Public Schools online enrollment system to enroll your child into one of our alternative learning programs or virtual summer school.  More information related to these programs can be found here or on the district website. If you have specific questions on these programs, please contact the school by phone or email.

Select “Enroll in NBAPS” to enroll your child online.

There will be computers setup for you to complete the online enrollment process at all the schools in the main office area.

The Norse Area Learning Center offers a pathway to graduation and/or a diploma, credit recovery, work-based programming, and therapy dog, in a unique location separate from traditional learning environments. Services are provided by caring staff that teach to the “whole student!” Flexible schedules are available to meet each student’s needs.

Distance Learning offers students a curriculum similar to that of the regular education student in virtually all ways except the delivery of the educational program.

Distance Learning students and their parents work together with a teacher to develop an individual learning plan for each student.
