NBAMS earns "Faces of Change" award!
North Branch Area Middle School has been selected to receive a "Faces of Change" Award from The Youth Advisory Boards of PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center.  Teacher Pam Newbauer submitted the application, documenting the school's efforts around Unity Day on October 19, Viking Grams, Gotcha Tickets, Student Shout Outs and the recent school-wide "RED" photo in the bus corral.
"We are so proud of our middle school staff, students, and families for receiving this honor," said Supt. Deb Henton. "The emphasis on a healthy positive climate for all students is a model middle schools can use to improve student engagement and achievement."

The 2017 Unity Awards will be held Thursday, May 25 at the Bloomington Civic Plaza in Bloomington, and includes light refreshments, social time, and entertainment.
