North Branch Area High School is a comprehensive high school serving approximately 1000 students in grades 9 through 12. North Branch Area High School has been serving it's community since 1909! 

North Branch Area High School exists to challenge all students to develop the skills and character needed to achieve their full potential and guide them to be productive, successful citizens. Viking Pride is evident in North Branch Area High School where rigorous academic standards are achieved in an innovative school  of excellence, focused on the development of the whole student. Viking Pride is respected as a positive force by students, parents, alumni, community, state, and nation.

Here are just some of the many opportunities North Branch Area High School is proud to offer students:

Project Lead the Way - a science and technology learning initiative.
AFJROTC- Air Force Junior Officer Training Corps
Computer for every student - The school district's BD3 program provides Chromebooks for every student, grades 10-12. It is hoped this program will be extended to ninth grade students in 2016-17.
ProStart - A nationally recognized program that introduces students to the culinary arts and provides opportunities for competition that help develop the best and brightest talent into the restaurant and food service leaders of tomorrow.

In 2015-16, NBAHS unveiled not only a brand new, state of the art media center, but added the Viking Technology Cafe to provide students an additional place to learn, as well as a selling point for ProStart students.

NBAHS also offers a full array of academic, athletic, and artistic clubs, sports and activities; over 20 different College in the Schools college credit opportunities., and comprehensive course offerings at all grade levels!
